THE NEED: A SAFE SPACE FOR KIDS
LCBHS provides a wide variety of services to children and their families, including:
- Individual therapy
- Family therapy
- Intensive Case Management
- Medication Management
- 24/7 Crisis Care
Currently, we do not have the ability to separate our pediatric and adult clients in our outpatient and crisis care service locations, which sometimes serves as a barrier in providing patient care.
THE SOLUTION
The outpatient service area of the new facility has been designed with separate reception and waiting areas for children and families.
There will be a children’s and family waiting area separate from the main clinic reception area.
In the CORE Crisis Center, there will also be a separate waiting area for children and their families.
This provides sight and sound separation between children and adults.
Your donation is needed for:
- 4 youth chairs
- 1 pentagon table
- Shelf with cubicle for toy storage
- Lounge chairs and side table
- Audio/visual equipment
