THE NEED: ADDICTION TREATMENT

One of the key components of inpatient addiction treatment is group therapy.

The EBEL Addiction Recovery Program provides group therapy sessions daily. A gathering space is needed for these sessions, and to also allow for local community meetings to take place. Engaging clients in the local resources available supports continued sobriety after inpatient treatment is completed.

Today, the EBEL Addiction Recovery Program is housed in the old Avera Sacred Heart Hospital at the Benedictine Center.

THE SOLUTION

The new facility includes a state-of-the-art addiction treatment unit, a new home for the EBEL Addiction Recovery Program.

The inpatient fellowship hall has been designed as a multi-purpose space dedicated exclusively for the use of the inpatient addiction treatment services.

The space will serve as the centerpiece of the EBEL Addiction Recovery Program and will be used every day of the week to provide a therapeutic environment for group therapy and activities.

The room will also be used for fellowship and community meetings to support patient recovery.
